Week 1 - #3 - Online quiz
Dear readers,
On 13 April, students were required to participate in an online learning quiz, which tests three key elements in Mandarin listening and speaking ; initials, finals, and tones. In preparation for the quiz, our laoshi kindly provided several YouTube videos which explain how the initials, finals and tones in Mandarin are used.
I watched the following videos by eChineseLearning, which I found to be very helpful and simple to understand ;
After watching the videos, I proceeded with some self practice prior to the quiz. Initially, I faced some difficulty pronouncing some elements, most notably ü . Nonetheless, after some practice, I proceeded with the quiz, and submitted my answers as follows ;
I hope to use this quiz for self practice purposes in the coming weeks. Additionally, I will continue to watch more tutorial videos from eChineseLearning.
